The River Nile was very important to the Ancient Egyptians. The Egyptians
caught fish with spears and nets. They used the nets to catch birds that
flew close to the water. They also carried goods on the Nile by boat.
The Egyptians also made paper and boats from papyrus, a type of grass.

Celebrations welcoming spring in Spain 

Las Fallas,'The Fires', is a five-day
festival from the 13th to 19th of
March.It takes place in Valencia, Spain.
People make 'ninots' [puppets] for the
festival and on the last day they put
fireworks in the ninots and set them on
fire. Other activities include parades
and paella (spanish food) contests.
