Didgeridoo

DREAMCATCHER



An old Lakota leader is on a mountain.
He has a dream: Iktomi, the wise spirit, appears
as a spider in his dream. Iktomi begins to spin a
web and says to him:

We begin our lives as babies,then we become children,
and then adults. Finally, we get old and we need
people to look after us, just like babies.
This is the cycle of life.

But, in each time of life, there are good forces and  bad forces.
Always listen to the good forces and follow the right path.
The bad forces can take you down the wrong path.

This web is a perfect circle with a hole in the centre.
Use it to help people.The web can catch all your good ideas and dreams,
but all the bad thoughts go through the hole!

living thing gets energy and how energy passes from one living think to another.
Plants get energy from the sun.
Animals get energy from plants and other animals.Some animals only
eat meat [carnivores]. Other animals only eat plants [herbivores].

Spain: Las Fallas

Celebrations welcoming spring in Spain 
Las Fallas,'The Fires', is a five-day
festival from the 13th to 19th of
March.It takes place in Valencia, Spain.
People make 'ninots' [puppets] for the
festival and on the last day they put
fireworks in the ninots and set them on
fire. Other activities include parades
and paella (spanish food) contests.
