Every living thing needs energy to live. A food chain shows how each
living thing gets energy and how energy passes from one living think to another.
Plants get energy from the sun.
Animals get energy from plants and other animals.Some animals only
eat meat [carnivores]. Other animals only eat plants [herbivores].
Some animals eat meat and plants [omnivores].
